Substantial performance and design improvements make the latest Attix wet and dry vacuums from Nilfisk-ALTO a good choice for contract cleaners, tradespeople and industrial users.

The versatile new Attix 30/40/50 range of 110V and 230V machines features interchangeable vacuum heads, powerful 3700 l/min airflow and 250mbar vacuum – based on an enhanced turbine design – and next-generation filter cleaning as standard. A battery powered model – claimed to be the market’s first go-anywhere wet and dry vacuum – will be added to the range in the summer.

Rick Hollebon, Nilfisk-ALTO UK product manager, says standardisation and interchangeability will make the machines especially attractive to ‘fleet’ users – whether for conventional floor cleaning or for static use with power tools. “The redesigned vacuum head generates a much greater under-pressure than earlier models, with the result that these models have a higher airflow for even more efficient cleaning,” he said.

In addition to standard models, the Attix 30/40/50 range includes dust extraction machines with auto-on/off sockets for power tools – on site or in the factory. All machines have the latest Push&Clean filter cleaning, while the new Attix 50 is also available with XtremeClean automatic cleaning of the high efficiency and washable PET fleece filter.
The new Attix 30 is a solution for craftsmen and other professionals on the move. It has a compact 30 litre container for easy handling. The Attix 40 has a 40 litre stainless steel container, and is designed for users with a higher frequency of cleaning and a larger volume requirement. The Attix 50, with a 47 litre container, offers a choice of Push&Clean or XtremeClean filter cleaning. Machines for floor cleaning (-01 models) are supplied with conventional cleaning tools as standard, dust extraction machines (-21 models) are supplied with a tool adaptor to facilitate coupling to power tools.

The 26.6V Attix 30 Battery is the first self-powered wet and dry machine on the market, and is ideal for flexible use where no power is available. This machine produces an airflow of 2220 l/min and vacuum of 137mbar. Driven by the latest lithium-ion battery technology, it gives a full 30 minutes’ running time on each battery – and the batteries are quickly recharged from the nearest power point.
