This year’s Windex saw the return of the Window Cleaning Competition, staged by the world’s fastest window cleaners – Terry ‘Turbo’ Burrows – at the Federation of Window Cleaners. Burrows used the occasion to try to beat his own world record and to stage competitions for both professionals and amateurs. The new competition for exhibitors was particularly enjoyable!

The winner of the main competition was Glyn Baily of Hazel Window Cleaners who cleaned and dried the three regulation sized window panes and frames in an impressive 13.09 seconds. Second place went to Andrew Walton who completed the task in 17.96 seconds.

The exhibitor’s competition uncovered some real talent as well. The winner was Steve Fox from Window Cleaning Warehouse who cleaned the three panes in  16.56 seconds – which would have placed him second in the main competition! In second place was Mark Henderson from Window Cleaning Resources who completed the task in 18.49 seconds, and third was Russell Oxley from Facelift Cleaning Systems who took 20.97 seconds.
