The ‘best stand’ award for Windex exhibitors only, presented by the Federation of Window Cleaners, this year went to Aquafactors Direct, who placed a fully loaded Ford Ranger vehicle complete with pole system in the middle of its booth.

A lot of discussion on the stand revolved around the company’s expertise in the field of water treatment – an essential element of any successful pole system.

AfD’s Alan Matthews said: “We have always been aware that water treatment, in this industry, is little understood. We have clearly set ourselves up as the water treatment ‘specialist’ and we are delighted by the number of enquiries we had at the show. We also had an amazing response to the kitted out Ford Ranger which was ‘something different’. Again interest was amazing and we believe we have sold four at £33,000 each!”
