Chris Luxton, the man behind Ecovend, Ecotime and several other innovations in the cleaning industry, contacted me recently to tell me about a new chewing gum removal system he is offering to the UK market, called the Multi-Nozzle 18.

He said: “This is the very latest specialist attachment which fits to any pressure washing machine and is the only safe method of removing chewing gum from Tarmac & asphalt without causing damage to either surface. Previously, local authorities and major contract cleaners only had a single jet for removing chewing gum which used a lot of water and took a long time to penetrate the chewing gum. It would sometimes, however, break up the Tarmac or asphalt. Until now, that is!”

Chris Luxton is the
first person to source this new attachment in the UK. He claims that there was a previous version produced in chromium plate, but it just wasn't designed to the high specification of the new nozzle.

The City & County of Swansea has just confirmed that it is buying six Multi-Nozzle 18's following demonstrations conducted by Chris Luxton. Swansea is currently working extremely hard in its bid to win a Keep Britain Tidy award and Wynn Lawrence, head of cleansing for the city, is confident that the new chewing gum removal system will help them in their task. Good luck to Swansea in its award bid, and well done to Chris for bringing another innovative product to market.
