GumBusters for graffiti and fly-posters too

Bookmark and Share
Most cities now have major problems with chewing gum stuck fast to pavements, and graffiti and fly posters on walls and shopfronts, all of which the local authorities are expected to deal with.

GumBusters technology is a commercially available system that can be used effectively in the streets without causing disruption to members of the public, and without restricting access. The highly mobile technology uses pressurised dry steam working in combination with an environmentally friendly, biodegradable detergent that uses hardly any water - in fact 40 litres per day is the maximum. Pressure washer usage can easily exceed that in a minute.

This technology is also suitable for graffiti and flyposter removal. Once again traditional methods require a chemical pre-application that needs washing off with copious amounts of pressurised water, and so the area being cleaned is usually closed off to public access because of the mess. But not with GumBusters. There are two GumBusters machines available for street cleaning - the highly mobile, independently powered GumTrolley, and the GumCart that operates from a van generator or with mains electricity.
