And with a sound pressure level of just 69dB, this versatile burnisher is also an ideal option for daytime cleaning operations. As a ride-on machine, the Nilfisk-Advance UHR 70- 1700 burnisher means reduced operator fatigue, and being battery-powered it produces none of the emissions associated with traditional propane burnishers. It has an extended battery run time for exceptional productivity and can burnish more than 12,500m2 of flooring on a single battery charge.


The machine’s brush/pad system is located between the front and back wheels for safe and easy operation and boasts an impressive speed of 1700 rpm. Operatives can also switch between three brush pressure settings, ranging from 22 to 34kg, to ensure consistent results for different floor types and conditions. The UHR 70-1700 is supplied as standard with a superior passive dust control system - the burnishing head is shrouded and seals to the floor to contain dust during operation.

An optional active dust control system, with three filtration levels, can be specified at time of order for environments that require extra dust filtration. A compact design and front wheel steering make the Nilfisk UHR 70-1700 burnisher easy to manoeuvre around obstacles and right up to the wall. The machine also features Nilfisk’s unique One-Touch electronic control function, so operatives can be up and running with the minimum of training.

For safety purposes, a dynamic speed controlled braking system automatically slows the machine when the pedal returns to neutral.
