Karcher manufactures a wide range of vacuum cleaners with features specifically designed for daytime cleaning. Whether the requirement is for cable-free machines for public safety, or extra-quiet machines for daytime office use, Karcher’s tub vacuums, backpack vacuums and electric brooms fit the bill.

Tub vacuums

When especially quiet operation is a requirement, Karcher’s T 15/1 is the most appropriate choice. The machine produces only 59 decibels and is therefore ideal for daytime cleaning of noise-sensitive areas. With 15 litre waste capacity and a 12 metre cable, the T 15/1 provides quiet and fast cleaning for long periods, while its new, high visibility, anti-kink cable improves safety and reduces risk of damage to the cable through improper storage.
For areas where trailing a cable is not acceptable, Karcher’s T 9/1 Bp battery-powered tub vacuum is ideal. Offering excellent suction and a nine litre waste capacity, this compact machine uses a rechargeable battery pack offering around 35 minutes run time between charges. The T 9/1 Bp can also be used with a mains cable, and produces only 58 decibels in battery mode.

Backpack vacuums

Karcher’s latest addition to its vacuum cleaner range, the BV 5/1, is a new backpack vacuum offered with either mains or battery power. Featuring a strap system designed to offer several hours’ comfortable use, and a 5 litre waste capacity, the BV 5/1 is perfect for daytime use in hard to reach areas such as stair wells, while the improved productivity offered by a backpack cleaner makes it suitable for cleaning of large office spaces. The mains version features a 15 metre power lead while the battery version uses two li-ion rechargeable batteries offering around 40 minutes of working time and fast charging. The battery version can also be used with a power cable when cable-free use is not required.

Electric broom

The Karcher EB30 is a powered broom designed specifically for daytime cleaning in public places. The EB30 is very quiet to use (only 56 decibels) and has no trailing cables so can be used throughout the day without the risk of disturbing or tripping customers or staff. The machine is also robust enough to be used as the sole cleaning machine for smaller areas. For larger premises the compact nature of the EB30 means it can fit neatly on to a typical janitor’s trolley.
