Kimberly-Clark Professional has unveiled Kleenguard V50 Eye Protection with Foam Fog Shield, an innovation in eye protection for the safety sector with a new fog shield which, claims the company, reduces fog by over 50% compared with traditional safety glasses.
“We found that lens fogging was a major contribution to worker down time,” said Brian Davis, category manager Kimberly-Clark’s safety business. “Kleenguard V50 Eye Protection with Foam Fog Shield has been developed to provide the answer, while offering the improved comfort that’s needed to make sure that everybody who should be wearing eye protection, is wearing eye protection.”
Kleenguard V50 comes with an impact resistant polycarbonate lens that meets European standard EN166 1FN. The foam fog and particle shield, along with an anti-fog coating which meets the stringent levels required to meet the EN166 N lens rating, offers the optimum in anti-fog protection. Its lightweight wrap around design, soft adjustable nose bridge and angling soft rubber temples all add up to greater comfort. With a choice of three lenses it offers 99.9% UVA/UVB protection.
